Roooaad Trip!

For the Easter break I was lucky enough to be taken on a 4 day camping road trip! It was so much fun to get away, breathe in fresh air and just hang out with no agenda, We saw so much driving around 1500kms, here is a small snippet of what we saw :)

Adventure Girl came along, Although I was reluctant to go climbing out, it was my favorite part of the whole trip. The lighting was just beautiful and we were lucky enough to be greeted occasionally by a playful little seal! So exciting :)

On the way home we stopped by a place called Malacoota, I was completely blown away it looked amazing, had a great feel and am already planning a trip there! what made me even more convinced was that people had their dogs with them everywhere you looked, even chilling out the front of their tents!

Epic Easter

Hooray for long weekends!
This year in Melbourne we get an epic 5 days off and i'm super excited about it! I'm looking forward to Relaxing and spending some quality time with Gav, there seems to have been not enough hours in the day of late!

Yesterday was a rainy day in Melbourne as I was wondering around I began to notice all of the new retail displays popping up, there has definately been a shift to the handmade lately and I love it! Check out a few snaps below

The real workspace

While it's lovely looking at beautifully styled studio shots surely they're just that, beautifully styled. Hours are spent cleaning, rearranging and adjusting the lighting to create the perfect shot. Am I wrong? It can't be what they look like all the time! well mine sure doesn't.

Which is why i'm relieved that UPPERCASE is calling for submissions of messy studio spaces for their next issue, hooray! I feel like my fabric and cotton covered carpet may be a real contender! while I do try and vacum it all up and keep it clean, when i'm working it always seems to end up like this!

The Shop that Popped!

Here are a few snaps from the gorgeous set up at the Harvest Workroom for Dawn Tan's pop up shop, It was such a great night and everything looked so beautiful!

I particularly loved all of the hanging planter cans!
